Terms of Service — ResumeAI

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using GetResumeAI ("Service"), operated by HIG Property LLC ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GetResumeAI provides AI-powered resume building, cover letter generation, and ATS optimization tools. We offer both free and paid subscription plans.

3. User Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it. You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid features require a subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless required by law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect current billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
Use automated scripts to access the Service without permission
Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your resume content and personal information. We retain ownership of the Service, its design, code, and AI models. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

7. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI tools is provided as suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIG PROPERTY LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
